Summer flowering bulb with clusters of violet-purple trumpet shaped flowers in summer. This plant is native to the Western USA where it grows in open grasslands on heavy soils. Could be planted with other wild flowers in areas of long grass. Adapts well to the UK climate. Makes a long lasting cut flower. Flowering height 45cm (18 inches)
