Coming from the USA, where it is the food plant of the Monarch Butterfly caterpillar, this upright perennial produces head soft dusky pink flowers through the summer. As the common name suggests, it likes moist soil, in fact it will actually do well in wet clay, but is equally happy in normal garden soil. Dead-head to promote more flowers.
