This Sea Holly is strictly a biennial, but will seed itself around. Large, silvery white flowers on stiffly upright stems appear in summer. Full sun and well drained soil. Drought tolerant. Named after plantswoman Ellen Willmott who reputedly sprinkled seed of it in gardens she visited.
