Lovely spring flowering bulb with nodding, bell-shaped yellow flowers with recurved petals held over marbled foliage in late spring- early summer. In time it will spread to make a good sized clump. For part shade in moisture retentive soil. Ideal for a woodland garden. Summer dormant. The common name of Dog's Tooth Violet comes from the resemblance of the bulb to a Canine tooth.
