A very pretty spring flowering bulb with large, nodding bell-shaped purple and pink spotted flowers from April to May. Ideal for naturalising in meadows, lawns or under deciduous trees or shrubs. Plant bulbs 4 times their depth in autumn. They like soil that is not too dry in summer but doesn't get waterlogged in winter. 30 cms (1 foot).
