An upright hardy fuchsia with small leaves and masses of single white flowers over a long period in summer. Likes a sunny sheltered spot, but will take some shade. Plant so that the bases of the stems are covered by a couple of inches of soil, and mulch in the autumn. In the event of a very cold winter this will ensure that new growth emerges in the spring. Prune hard back in March, if desired. Will take to growing in a pot, in the border and makes a good hedge.
