Hardy bulbous plant with arching stems of pendant bell-shaped greenish-white flowers in late summer. These bulbs prefer soil which remains slightly moist in summer but not too wet in winter. When planting incorporate a good amount of compost and grit into the hole. If the bulbs start to fade after a few years lift the bulbs and separate them out. Either pot up the offsets or replant them. It may take a couple of years for them to start flowering again.
