The greenhouse border with plants just getting established. Few conservatories provide the facility to plant direct into the ground like this, but where this is possible, growth can be dramatic. Sometimes keeping plants in containers is a useful aid in restricting their size, but the plants will need more care with regard to food and water, and in hot sunny conservatories the pots may need shading to prevent the roots from overheating. |
