Plants nestling in our heated
propagator, making the most of some autumn sunshine. Most of these are
cuttings or small plants, well-rooted and thus more likely to survive the
winter.
The plant with yellowish leaves in the foreground is a cactus (Pereskia) whose leaves catch out the unwary - until they handle the plant and discover the wickedly prickly spines. Also here are three members of the Acanthus family, Justicia brandegeeana (Shrimp Plant) and two of the species Strobilanthes we stock. |
