We shall be opening at Easter - 10 to 5 Wednesday to Sunday. Weather permitting, there will be someone here Easter Monday, but ring first to make sure.

We have started putting out some shrubs & perennials, so feel free to visit before we officially open but, once again, ring first.

Shrubland Park Nurseries is a family-run business in the heart of Suffolk, situated in the grand surroundings of Shrubland Park. We are not a garden centre, we are a "proper" nursery, propagating, growing and selling our own plants and we welcome amateur and experienced gardeners alike. We pride ourselves in presenting a clean and tidy nursery with a friendly, informal atmosphere. All of our plants are healthy and clearly labelled with easy-to-read bed labels (see picture above.) Our staff are friendly and have an intimate knowledge of the plants we grow and are more than happy to give advice (during official opening hours.) For more details see visit us

We hope you will discover something interesting amongst our diverse and distinctive range of plants for the Conservatory, Home and Garden. Browse through our catalogue, and you will discover a unique selection of plants, from Hardy Perennials (including Cottage Garden favourites and more unusual plants), grasses and other hardy plants,  and one of the largest collections of sub-tropical and exotic Conservatory Plants and Tender Perennials in Suffolk.

Please ring us first if you are travelling any distance and are looking for certain plants. Our stock varies throughout the year, depending on weather and demand etc. Also, not all the plants which are available are necessarily out in the sales areas. 

We sell our plants in a variety of ways:

 

	Direct from the nursery. Being very close to the A14 makes us easily accessible to visitors from Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. We are only 15 minutes from Ipswich town centre and approximately 45 minutes from Norwich, Bury St. Edmunds and Colchester (see visit us and map).
	Group visits: We welcome visits from Gardening Clubs, Horticultural Societies and other interested parties. We ask that this should be pre-arranged so we can ensure enough staff will be on hand. We can usually offer refreshments in the form of a cup of Coffee or Tea and (if requested well in advance of a visit) we can sometimes offer a slice of home-made cake for a small charge. If refreshments are required we need as much notice as possible. A guided tour of Shrubland Gardens can be arranged, followed by a visit to the Nurseries.
	By mail order. We have decided to stay with our personalised system of ordering, rather than going for online ordering. We feel this still reflects our operation, in as much as we can give you an indication of when plants which are out of stock may become available, discuss price, delivery etc. with you.
	Through events such as the Shrubland Park Plant Fair.

We will continue to increase our range of plants for the discerning gardener, and to make our nursery a distinctive and pleasant place to visit
