AEONIUM ARBOREUM ATROPURPUREUM
A lovely succulent, with a vigourous upright branching habit. In colour, not so dark as `Zwartkop`, but takes on a deep purple hue in bright sunlight. Like all Aeoniums, flowers may occasionally arise from the centre of the rosettes, which then die. The plant will resprout from the stem below. A well-grown plant may reach over 3 feet, and will need careful placing, as the stems are brittle.
