BOUGAINVILLEA `RASPBERRY ICE`(PAPER FLOWER
The `Paper Flower` is a popular climber for a warm well-lit conservatory. Rather than twining around it's support, it hangs on by means of sharp thorns. The long-lasting papery bracts supply the colour, which may be pink, mauve, orange or white - there are some double flowered forms too. The true flowers are small and white, as can be seen in the variegated variety pictured here.

These plants dislike temperatures below 7 - 10 degrees C. in winter. becoming leafless and slow to break into growth in the spring.
