Visitors to the Canary Islands should drag themselves away from the beaches and go and search for this rare endemic (i.e. only occurring naturally in the Canary Islands) native flower. Seeds or plants must not, of course be collected! This relative of the more familiar Campanula can be found scrambling through shrubs in woodlands in the wetter parts of the islands.
