We are pleased to announce that Shrubland Park Nurseries is now open in the village of Elmsett, near Hadleigh in Suffolk. We are a small, family-run nursery growing and selling a diverse range of plants from cottage garden favourites to more modern and unusual varieties.

The Nursery was established in 1999 by proprietor Gill Stitt with the help of her husband Bill and daughter Catherine. The Nursery was originally located in the grounds of Shrubland Park in Coddenham near Ipswich but had to move in 2011 after the sale of the Hall, gardens and parkland. We are delighted to have found new premises at Malting’s Farm close to the centre of the village. (Please see Visitor Information for directions and opening times

We grow hardy perennials, shrubs, climbers, ferns and herbs as well as seasonal basket and container plants and some more unusual tender and conservatory plants. Over the coming months and in future years we will be broadening our range of plants to provide year round interest with a strong focus on wildlife friendly plants.

Visitors to the nursery can be assured of a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re new to gardening or a green-fingered enthusiast we will always be happy to help you with suggestions for any situation in your garden. We offer services such as border planning if you are stuck for ideas, a grow-to-order service if you need larger quantities of plants.
