Pennisetum villosum

A grass for a warm sheltered border making arching clumps of leaves above which rise clouds of fluffy white flowers in mid to late summer. These can be used for cut flowers, either fresh or dried. The foliage should be left on over winter to protect the crown of the plant, and removed in spring when new growth starts. Seed saved and sown early in the year will produce flowering plants in the same season.  60 cms (2 feet).
