Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens'

Perennial (not a grass) with narrow, jet-black leaves and pale lilac flowers in summer followed by dark blue berries. Likes slightly acidic soil in full sun. Spreads very slowly. Good for pots mixed with other coloured foliage for a good contrast. 20 cms (7"). AGM.9 cm pot.
