A striking evergreen fern with long fronds which are reddish as they emerge before turning green. Fast growing, in the right conditions it can eventually make a large plant, with fronds up to 6 feet long. This fern produces little bulbils at the tips of its fronds - these root and produce baby ferns when they touch the ground, eventually making an impressive colony. Each frond only produces one baby, unigemmata meaning one jewelled. For moist soil in shade and damp soils. 1 litre pots.
