Strictly this should now be Symphyotrichum, we're leaving the old name until everyone is used to the new one.
An upright cultivar growing to about 2 feet, with masses of dainty white flowers in the autumn. Sun, but will also cheer up a slightly shaded border. According to the HPS, from Westacre Gardens.
