A striking plant sporting very large green leathery leaves with ruffled edges, growing to around two feet and taking on a purple tinge in the winter. The flowers are mid-pink and appear on stems to 3 feet tall in spring to early summer. Great for making a distinctive planting under trees or large shrubs.
