A very stiff upright habit is a distinguishing feature of this tall grass. Bronzy plumes turn straw colour into autumn. looks good with Asters and HeleniumMakes an unusual screen too, the stems stay looking good during the winter, cut back in February. Deciduous. Cool season.

The exact size of plants will vary with the growing season and may be cut back in accordance with normal pruning regimes or to fit in the box if they are excessively tall
