A scrambling evergreen shrub producing egg shaped and sized edible fruit (eaten raw or used for jams or jellies). Given a frost free sunny greenhouse border, fruit will be produced in late summer. Support the stems, and feed with e.g. Tomorite, rather like a large tomato plant. Plants will also appreciate a mulch.
