An ancient plant forming spreading clumps of stiffly upright narrow green stems with dark bands. Unlike its weedy relative, its spreading nature can be controlled by growing in a container. Grow in shallow water up to about 4 inches deep, or in normal soil.

  • Herbs: 9cm
  • Hardy Shrubs and Climbers: 1.5 or 2 litre 
  • Potted Bulbs: variable- please see "Size/Qty" on product information page 
  • Dormant Bulbs, Tubers and Bare-root perennials come either bagged or wrapped without a pot

The exact size of plants will vary with the growing season and may be cut back in accordance with normal pruning regimes or to fit in the box if they are excessively tall
