From eastern USA comes this graceful grass, making clumps of arching narrow blue-green leaves, topped with white flowers which dance in the wind in summer. Ideal for a prairie style garden. Cut back dead leaves in spring. Divide early summer.

An epiphytic cactus from rain forests in Brazil, where it grows in trees. It has curiously jointed knobbly trailing stems to 60 cm long. Makes a nice trailing plant for a well lit spot indoors.
