Stunning Geranium from Madeira with a huge dome of mid pink flowers and dark pink eye, early-mid summer. The large, discected palmate leaves are also a feature. It has a semi-shruby habit. The main stem is topped by the panicles of flowers. The leaf stems angle downwards, touching the ground to support the massive flowering head.
It can be short lived so save some seed each year. It can also be grown as a biennial so if you sow some seed every year you will always have flowering plants. Young plants should be overwintered frost free greenhouse. More established plants can take a few degrees of frost for a short period but are only likely to survive outdoors in very mild areas where frost is uncommon
