Our herb plants are supplied in 9cm diameter pots. Please select from the varieties available and add the quantity required to your basket. Please also see our selection of herb and veg seeds

Chives- mild, onion-tasting leaves. Great for soups, stews and roasts and salads. Flowers edible too
Fennel (purple) -Aniseed-flavoured, purple leaves. Great for fish dishes
French Tarragon- Used to give Bearnaise sauce its unique taste. Also great with chicken and fish 
Mint- Garden- Good old fashioned mint!
Mint- Apple Mint- Soft downy leaves and a more delicate, apple flavour. Try it as a tea or to flavour salads, couscous or even ice cream.
Mint- Black Peppermint- Great for mint sauce and makes a fantastic tea
Mint- Moroccan-Makes a fantastic tea with a sweet refreshing taste
Mint- Spearmint- Sweeter than other mints. Good for making tea or flavouring drinks
Parsley-Flat leaf-Versatile herb which can be used raw or cooked to flavour salads, salsas, soups and many other dishes.
Pot Marjoram-Milder flavour than Oregano and can be used to flavour many dishes.
Sage-A very useful herb with strong aromatic leaves. Great for stuffings, with roast potatoes and Pork dishes.
Thyme- Common-Indispensable herb for many savoury dishes. great with red meats and roast vegetables 
Thyme- Lemon - Best used fresh (uncooked) to retain the subtle lemon flavour. Great with poultry and fish

Unless otherwise indicated our plants are supplied in the following pot sizes according to category. Dimensions refer to either the pot diameter (cm) or volume (litre);

  • Exotics/Conservatory & House Plants, Succulents: mostly as young plants in 9cm or 1 litre pots
  • Hardy Perennials, Ferns and Grasses: 1 litre (approx 12cm diameter)
  • Herbs: 9cm
  • Hardy Shrubs and Climbers: 1.5 or 2 litre 
  • Potted Bulbs: variable- please see "Size/Qty" on product information page 
  • Dormant Bulbs, Tubers and Bare-root perennials come either bagged or wrapped without a pot

The exact size of plants will vary with the growing season and may be cut back in accordance with normal pruning regimes or to fit in the box if they are excessively tall
