('Rain of Fire'.) An old French hybrid, possibly pushed to the wayside by the newer flamboyant introductions. Will take some sun if the soil is good and moisture retentive, othewise it will be happy in part shade. In early summer spikes of small vivid red flowers appear, ideal for cutting, but leave some for the bees.
