A female cultivar sporting almost spineless leaves with a bold green and yellow variegation. Planted near a male Holly this will oblige with clusters of red berries in the winter, a favourite food of thrushes, blackbirds, fieldfares and redwings. Eventually making a large tree, it is useful for screening, can be trained to a formal shape or allowed to grow into a medium sized tree.
