Tall-growing succulent with really weird, large, triangular, fleshy leaves with a distinctly furry/felty touch. The distinguishing feature of this variety is the new growth has a rusty-brown tinge. Mature specimens may produce urn-shaped green-yellow flowers in late winter.

A fine specimen for a sunny room or conservatory. Grow in a really gritty/open compost in a heavy pot as this plant will get top heavy in time with tall stems and big leaves. The downy leaves really don't like getting splashed with water and mark easily so make sure you water at the base of the plant.

We grow a variety of Kalanchoes including beharensis and various hybrids thereof. K. beharensis is native to Madagascar and like many plants and creatures from this island this species is weird wonderful and utterly unique!
