Formerly Dicentra. A popular perennial for a shady spot or woodland planting, with delicately cut foliage and arching stems along which hang pendant, heart-shaped pink and white flowers from April to May. Grow in moist, well drained soil in part shade. Makes a nice cut flower. Summer dormant, so plant with something like Geraniums which will cover the gap.
