Name uncertain, but believed to have come from Great Dixter. A vigourous cultivar with large leathery leaves, each with a distinct dark purple streaked 'V'. Insignificant flowers, but a great foliage plant!
A very large majestic perennial. Clump-forming so doesn't run, but does need space to show off the arching stems with large green leaves topped by frothy white flower panicles in summer - autumn. Copes well with poorly drained/ heavy soil.
