This low growing plant is ideal for dry, sandy, chalky or low fertility soil. A UK native, this tough little plant has wiry stems with narrow leaves and masses of tiny pink flowers in summer. Great for a rockery or alpine bed and very drought tolerant. For free draining soil in full sun.

Unless otherwise indicated our plants are supplied in the following pot sizes according to category. Dimensions refer to either the pot diameter (cm) or volume (litre);

  • Exotics/Conservatory & House Plants, Succulents: mostly as young plants in 9cm or 1 litre pots
  • Hardy Perennials, Ferns and Grasses: 1 litre (approx 12cm diameter)
  • Herbs: 9cm
  • Hardy Shrubs and Climbers: 1.5 or 2 litre 
  • Potted Bulbs: variable- please see "Size/Qty" on product information page 
  • Dormant Bulbs, Tubers and Bare-root perennials come either bagged or wrapped without a pot

The exact size of plants will vary with the growing season and may be cut back in accordance with normal pruning regimes or to fit in the box if they are excessively tall
