A bold hardy perennial with mounds of hairy leaves topped by spikes of whorled pale yellow flowers summer to autumn. Leave the seed heads on for winter interest. They look particularly good when frosted. It is drought tolerant so ideal for lighter soils or a Mediterranean style garden. This plant does spread quite vigorously so it's great for filling a large area and weed smothering but be careful not to place it so it will swamp other plants. Full sun, normal soil.
