Conservatory and Sunroom Plants

We probably use the term Conservatory Plants a bit too freely – after all, plants were around long before conservatories, and with a bit of ingenuity, it is amazing the number of ‘conservatory’ plants you can grow - without a conservatory! A sun-lounge, porch or gently heated greenhouse will be appreciated by many medium-sized plants and some smaller plants can be accommodated on a windowsill.

Snail Vine/ Corkscrew Vine This is such a weird and wonderful climber we just had to grow it! The corkscrew shaped flowers are highly fragrant and transit through purple-lilac to cream, turning yellow with age. It originates from central and south America where the fragrant flowers attract ants for pollination. Suitable for growing in a big pot on a summer patio or humid conservatory£7.50
