Getting tender plants through the winter

Conservatory and Sunroom Plants

We probably use the term Conservatory Plants a bit too freely – after all, plants were around long before conservatories, and with a bit of ingenuity, it is amazing the number of ‘conservatory’ plants you can grow - without a conservatory! A sun-lounge, porch or gently heated greenhouse will be appreciated by many medium-sized plants and some smaller plants can be accommodated on a windowsill.

An increasing number of our tender plants are grown by us on our nursery, and will mostly be supplied in 9 cm pots. Occasionally we supply larger bought in plants, these have generally been grown in Holland or Denmark and will be more expensive. We believe our own 'home grown' plants offer much better value, and when potted on and grown in your particular conditions will make more well-adjusted plants.

Winter Mail Order

During the winter we stop sending out our tender plants, but leave a selection of them visible on our web site so you can see what we will have next year. If there are any plants you are interested in please let us know, so we can reserve them for you.
