A semi-succulent trailing plant for a shady position indoors, with attractive glossy leaves and short spikes of white and blue flowers. Great in a hanging basket. Comes from Africa, not Sweden, and is not and ivy, so the common name is rather mis-leading!

Asclepias curassavica Silky Gold£8.50
Probably a variety of A. curassavica. An upright tender perennial with masses of bright yellow flowers over a long period in summer.
Bottle tree with attractive horizontally held felty leaves. Its swollen trunk stores water. Curious fleshy red flowers appear in late winter, even on small plants.
