Lovely variety with aromatic leaves and deep purple-blue flowers from May-September. A magnet for Bees. Needs well drained soil in a sheltered, sunny position. Needs frost protection in cold areas. Prune lightly in late spring to promote good flowering.

  • Herbs: 9cm
  • Hardy Shrubs and Climbers: 1.5 or 2 litre 
  • Potted Bulbs: variable- please see "Size/Qty" on product information page 
  • Dormant Bulbs, Tubers and Bare-root perennials come either bagged or wrapped without a pot

The exact size of plants will vary with the growing season and may be cut back in accordance with normal pruning regimes or to fit in the box if they are excessively tall

A compact cultivar with masses of pale yellow flowers with contrasting brown calyces. Its habit makes it ideal for the front of a sunny border or in containers, in well-drained soil. 70 cm.

Salvia x jamensis 'Pluenn'£7.50

A compact cultivar with mid- to pale pink flowers from May to November. Loves sun & well-drained soil, & is happy in containers too. As with all Salvias, an excellent bee plant.
