A very pretty prennial for shade producing clumps of evergreen yellow and green mottled leaves, above which dainty spays of greenish lightly scented flowers appear in late spring. Good for dry shade under trees and shrubs.
A large evergreen grass from damp places in Australia, forming mounds of fine grey-green leaves topped by airy flower panicles in summer. Well-drained moisture-retentive soil in sun, good for stabilising banks. Can be cut back in spring.
