Evergreen suckering climber from the Canaries with prickly stems and triangular, spotted leaves. Sometimes produces small white flowers but it's really grown for foliage. Very good for nesting Wrens and makes an interesting alternative to Ivy. Hardy on a warm wall otherwise greenhouse or conservatory.
