Pretty panicles of small star shaped white flowers emerging from pink buds from April to -July. Attractive palmate leaves with a bronze centre. Ideally grow in moist, well drained soil but drier is tolerated. Good for: Pots, bees and butterflies.

A lovely evergreen fern with shuttlecocks of soft, bi-pinnate, lance-shaped fronds. The tips of the fronds droop, tassel-like, as they unfurl.

A very long-flowering species (June to September), with masses of purple-pink flowers over tidy mounds of foliage. A good choice for underplanting in shade, will tolerate dry shade when established
Anemone hupehensis var. japonica 'Rotkšppchen'£5.50 £4.68
('Little Red Riding Hood'). A lovely, compact cultivar with very deep pink semi-double flowers in summer and autumn.
