Some would say that the whole point of growing V. bonariensis is its tall airy habbit, one of those must-have 'see through' plants. This is more of a 'look down on' plant, but very attractive in its own right. Basically a shorter (to 2 foot) and more compact version, which will associate well with some of the shorter grasses, Asters etc. It may seed around, seedlings may be of varying heights. Take some cuttings in late summer as an insurance against winter loss.
