Large, deciduous shrub with tiers of spreading branches with flat sprays of showy white flowers 1" across in late spring. Makes an impressive specimen by itself or in a large shrub/ mixed border. Foliage turns red in autumn. Grow in well drained soil in sun/ shade. Do not over prune these shrubs or it will spoil the shape. Just remove any misplaced shoots which spoil the symmetry.
