Better than Bedding

Instead of growing short life summer bedding plants in your garden or containers why not plant hardy perennials or grasses or even small shrubs instead? They will come back year after year and which is much better for the environment and your pocket! Here are some plants we recommend which have a long flowering period or have interesting foliage. Why not give them a try? Also look at our Half Hardy and Summer Patio plants for some interesting plants to put out for the summer. These are great if you have a greenhouse to keep them in over winter
